About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team at Tent Communications. You’ll be the go-to person for designing, building, hosting, and maintaining websites, both for our agency and for the clients we serve. If you’re someone who takes pride in clean builds, smooth launches, and keeping things running without a hitch, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop responsive, visually polished WordPress websites from scratch or using themes and page builders.
• Set up hosting environments, configure domains, manage DNS, and handle site deployments.
• Publish, update, and manage content across multiple client and internal websites.
  Perform routine maintenance of plugin updates, backups, security patches, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to translate briefs into functional, on-brand websites.
• Ensure all websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 years of hands-on experience building and managing WordPress websites.
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, Elementor or similar page builders.
• Comfortable with basic HTML, CSS, and PHP customization.
• Experience with web hosting platforms (cPanel, Cloudways, or similar) and domain management.
• Familiarity with website security best practices and SSL setup.
• An eye for design and attention to detail, you care about how things look and feel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong English proficiency – both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WooCommerce or membership-based site setups.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and WordPress REST API.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and on-page SEO tools.
  Previous experience working at a marketing or creative agency.

Salary & Compensation:

• Salary: BDT 15,000 – 30,000 per month, based on experience and skill level.
• Travel, mobile, and overtime allowances as applicable, per company policy.
